Description
The LS100 Hydrogen-alpha system features a 100mm aperture integrally tuned etalon, designed for use with any compatible refractor provided by the user. This system includes the B600 standard, suitable for telescopes with focal lengths up to 540mm. Please note that a blocking filter is required for operation.
With an estimated bandpass of less than 0.7 Angstroms, the LS100 delivers high-contrast views of both surface and edge details on the Sun. For even higher resolution viewing or imaging, an additional etalon system can be added, reducing the bandpass to approximately less than 0.5 Angstroms, depending on the telescope used.
