Both models use Porro prisms to deliver clear, bright images, making them suitable for applications in education, biology, industry, university research, and marine biology. The SMZ445 features a zoom range of 0.8x to 3.5x (zoom ratio 4.4:1) with a 45° viewing angle, while the SMZ460 offers a zoom range of 0.7x to 3.0x (zoom ratio 4.3:1) with a 60° viewing angle. A long working distance of 100 mm provides ample space for specimen manipulation with tools such as tweezers or pipettes.
