The Optolong Planetary Filters Kit includes five essential filters for planetary photography: UV/IR Cut, Red (R), Green (G), Blue (B), and IR685. These filters are especially effective when used with monochromatic cameras, allowing you to isolate specific wavelengths and enhance planetary details.

In planetary imaging, filters such as IR and UV are commonly used to capture different parts of the spectrum. The IR filter, for example, is valuable because longer wavelengths are less affected by atmospheric turbulence, resulting in clearer images. For visible light imaging, the traditional RGB filters are used.
