The Starlight Xpress Maxi USB Filterwheel 9 x 2" is a high-capacity, motorized filter wheel designed for astrophotographers who use large format cameras. Several carousel options are available for the Maxi filter wheel:

Unmounted filters can be up to 5mm thick. The standard output adaptor ring is a male M72 x 1mm thread, suitable for direct connection to cameras such as the Trius SX-35 or SX-36. The Maxi filter wheel uses the same control protocol as smaller SX wheels and supports both USB and serial input. The electronic assembly is powered entirely by USB, so no external power supply is needed unless using the serial input, which requires a small battery.
