The Starlight Xpress USB Filterwheel 7x 36mm, T2 - T2 is a motorized filter wheel designed for astrophotography and advanced imaging. It accommodates up to seven 36mm unmounted round filters and operates entirely from USB power, with the high-performance DC gearmotor consuming less than 100mA. No separate power supply is needed when using USB control. The wheel can also be operated via a serial input or a hand controller, both of which can be powered by a small dry battery.

This filter wheel is lightweight and slim, featuring a thumbscrew system for easy, tool-free swapping of filter disks. The input threads are female (facing the telescope), and the output threads are male (facing the camera). Various threaded adapters are available, including T2, SCT, M48, M54, M56, and M72. Adapters can be swapped by loosening three stainless screws, and each flange can be rotated for optimal orientation.
