The ToupTek ToupCam SCAM4K 8MPB is a next-generation color camera designed for live-view imaging with 4K video resolution at 30 frames per second. It features a highly sensitive Sony Exmor CMOS sensor with low dark current and no smear, using RGB primary color mosaic filters for accurate color reproduction. The camera is compatible with a wide range of microscope systems thanks to its standard c-mount interface and can be used as a stand-alone device with an HDMI monitor or TV, or for live streaming and recording to a PC via WiFi or USB 3.0. Built-in hardware functions such as 3D denoising, sharpness, and tone mapping significantly enhance image and video quality.
The included Windows software provides advanced tools for image development, measurement, stitching, and depth of field compositing. Mac and Linux users can use a lite version for capturing video and still images with basic editing features. The camera is suitable for applications in medicine, industry, education, technical training, and hobby use. It comes with all necessary accessories for immediate setup and supports multi-platform operation through ToupView/ToupLite software.
