The Vixen Telescope N 130/650 R130Sf Advanced Polaris AP-SM Starbook One is a practical and expandable telescope set, perfect for beginners or as a portable travel telescope for more experienced astronomers. The lightweight 5-inch Newtonian reflector offers excellent light gathering, producing bright, sharp images for observing the moon, planets, star clusters, nebulae, and galaxies. The focuser includes a T2 thread, allowing for DSLR camera attachment with an optional T2 ring, making it suitable for entry-level astrophotography.

The Advanced Polaris equatorial mount is engineered for both ease of use and precise adjustment, featuring an aluminum gearwheel with 144 teeth and dual-bearing worm shafts. Its adjustable slipper clutch allows the telescope to be moved freely and then fine-tuned with rotary knobs, even when motors are installed. Polar alignment is flexible, using either a polar finder scope or a compass, and the mount can be upgraded with a variety of accessories.

The Star Book One controller provides intuitive control with variable tracking speeds for right ascension and declination, supporting sidereal, lunar, and solar tracking as well as time-lapse photography. Additional features include backlash compensation, an autoguider port, periodic error correction (PEC), and a built-in red LED for night-time use. The controller is compact, lightweight, and easy to operate with a clear LCD display.

The APP-TL130 tripod is lightweight and stable, retracting to 60 cm for portability and extending up to 130 cm for comfortable observation. Retractable rubber covers on the tripod legs protect floors during indoor use, and the tripod is compatible with other Vixen mounts.
