The Advanced Polaris equatorial mount is lightweight and user-friendly, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced observers seeking a portable solution. It features precision engineering with an aluminum gearwheel, 144 teeth, and dual-bearing worm shafts for smooth, accurate adjustments. The adjustable slipper clutch allows you to move the telescope freely and fine-tune positioning with rotary knobs, even when motors are installed. For polar alignment, you can use either a polar finder scope or a compass, ensuring flexibility and ease of use.
The APP-TL130 tripod is designed for portability and stability, retracting to just 60 cm for easy transport and extending up to 130 cm. Retractable rubber covers on the tripod legs protect floors during indoor use, and the tripod is compatible with other Vixen mounts.
