Vixen Coma Corrector PH for R200SS Telescope (51013)

Coma is an optical defect where stars at the edge of the field appear elongated with a comet-like tail, rather than as sharp points. The coma corrector compensates for this distortion, ensuring stars remain pinpoint across the entire field of view.

This high-quality corrector lens system is designed specifically for the Vixen R200SS Newtonian Reflector telescope. It eliminates aberrations caused by parabolic mirror surfaces, delivering sharp star images right to the edge of the field. The Wynne-type optical design uses three elements in three groups to correct coma for parabolic mirrors.

The corrector supports a wide 44mm diameter image circle, covering a 36mm x 24mm full-frame DSLR sensor, and ensures sharp images across the entire imaging area. Its large 50mm aperture lens provides ample illumination even at the field edges. The anti-reflective AS coatings, identical to those used in Vixen's top-tier VSD 100f/3.8 Astrograph, offer 99.9% light transmission for superb image quality.

A complete matte finish inside the corrector eliminates light loss and ghost flare. Each unit undergoes strict quality control to ensure high performance.
