This polar finder allows the Polarie mount to achieve precise alignment with the celestial pole, enabling longer exposure times for astrophotography.

The illumination brightness can be set to eight different levels. The red light preserves your night vision and does not interfere with dark adaptation. To save battery life, the illumination switches off automatically after a period of use.

With the PF-L Assist smartphone app, aligning the Polarie is especially easy. The app uses your GPS location and time to simulate the position of the Pole Star, showing you exactly how it should appear in the reticle for accurate setup.

This polar finder can be used in both the northern and southern hemispheres.
