The MAGUS CBF30 Digital Camera allows you to capture photographs and record videos through a microscope. You can edit your files, organize presentations, and make linear and angular measurements of observed objects after calibration. This camera is designed for microscopes that use the brightfield method and supports use with 4x, 10x, 20x, and 40x objectives.

Image and Video Performance

The 6.3MP sensor produces bright, detailed images and videos at a maximum resolution of 3072x2048 pixels. If needed, the resolution can be lowered to 1536x1024 pixels, but the frame rate will always remain at 59 frames per second. This ensures smooth video with no lag or stutter, even when recording moving objects.

Sensor Technology

The camera features a SONY Exmor backlit color CMOS sensor, which allows for use in low-light environments. The image will remain clear and bright. For the sharpest, distortion-free images, use an adapter with a magnification between 0.5x and 0.75x.

Additional Features

The MAGUS CBF30 uses a USB3.0 interface, ensuring fast and reliable data transfer. The camera comes with specialized software for photo and video capture, file editing, live display on an external screen, and classroom demonstrations.

Installation Options

The camera can be installed in the microscope’s trinocular tube using a C-mount adapter. Installation in an eyepiece tube is also possible with a C-mount adapter and the appropriate adapter ring.
