The Levenhuk DTX 800 LCD is a professional digital microscope suitable for fields such as microelectronics, biology, medicine, forensics, and materials science. This microscope enables comfortable, detailed observation of small organic samples, mechanical parts, plant fragments, insects, and many other objects. The basic magnification ranges from 20x to 300x and can be increased digitally up to 1500x.

Camera and Display:
The device features a 4-megapixel digital camera with a sensitive CMOS sensor, delivering high-quality images. Observations are viewed on a 7-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels. This large, clear display allows users to work comfortably for extended periods without eye or neck strain, unlike traditional microscopes. The camera supports photo and video recording in several resolution options. Photos can be captured at 3 MP or 2 MP, with interpolation available up to 16 MP, 12 MP, 10 MP, 8 MP, or 5 MP. Videos are recorded in 1440p at 30 frames per second. For storing recorded material, the microscope supports microSD cards up to 128 GB (microSD card not included).

Connectivity and Software:
The microscope includes both USB and HDMI ports. USB is used for data transfer to a computer and to utilize PortableCapture Plus software. The HDMI port allows for connecting the microscope to an external monitor or TV.

Lighting and Optics:
Bright LED illumination with adjustable intensity and a built-in polarization filter expand the microscope’s capabilities. The polarization filter helps reduce stray light reflections, which is especially useful when observing shiny surfaces such as metals, gemstones, or jewelry.

Focusing and Measurement:
Focusing is manual, with a range of 5–70 mm. The included software makes it possible to measure objects (line, radius, diameter, angle between three points) and add drawings or notes directly to the images.
