The MAGUS Stereo microscope 8T is a trinocular stereomicroscope designed for examining three-dimensional samples with exceptional depth of field and image clarity. The Greenough optical system features independent optical channels with a 15° stereoscopic angle, providing true spatial perception and making it easy to manipulate objects within the working area. The microscope supports both transmitted and reflected light, and its functionality can be extended with optional accessories for darkfield and polarized light techniques. The rotating head allows for flexible positioning, and a digital camera can be attached in place of one eyepiece for documentation or display purposes.

Magnification is achieved through a smooth zoom objective with an 8.4:1 zoom ratio, maintaining focus throughout the range. The standard setup provides a magnification range from 6.5x to 55x, and you can further adjust magnification, field of view, and working distance by using auxiliary lenses. Coarse and fine focusing are available via coaxial knobs, with fine adjustment recommended for magnifications above 40x. The stage includes both a transparent plate for transmitted light and a black-and-white plate for use with reflected light to provide optimal contrast for various samples.

Illumination is provided by two 3W LED light sources for both transmitted and reflected light, each with a lifespan of 50,000 hours and adjustable brightness. The microscope can be customized with a wide range of accessories, including additional eyepieces, objective lenses, digital cameras, calibration slides, various illuminators, and different stands. Optional darkfield condensers and polarizers are available for specialized applications.
