The MAGUS Stereo 8B is a binocular stereomicroscope designed for detailed work with three-dimensional samples. Its Greenough optical system features independent optical channels and a 15° stereoscopic angle, offering a high depth of field and a true-to-life, three-dimensional image. This microscope is suitable for manipulating objects in a working area from 105 mm (standard) to 177 mm (with optional accessories). The microscope supports both transmitted and reflected light, and its capabilities can be expanded to include darkfield and polarization methods with additional accessories.

The microscope head is equipped with two eyepiece tubes and comes with a pair of 10x eyepieces with a 22 mm field of view. A digital camera can be installed in place of one eyepiece for documentation or display. The rotating head can be set to any position for comfortable observation. Magnification is achieved via a zoom objective with an 8.4:1 zoom ratio, providing a smooth transition from 6.5x to 55x magnification, and the focus remains on the subject throughout. You can further customize magnification, field of view, and working distance using auxiliary lenses.

Both coarse and fine focus adjustments are available through coaxial knobs located on the sides of the stand. Fine adjustment is recommended for magnifications above 40x, and the stiffness of the coarse focusing mechanism is adjustable.

The microscope can be used with both transparent and opaque samples. It includes a transparent stage plate for transmitted light, giving soft and even illumination, and a black-and-white plate for reflected light, which enhances contrast. Illumination is provided by two 3W LED sources, one for transmitted and one for reflected light, each with an expected lifespan of 50,000 hours and adjustable brightness.

A wide range of accessories is available, including additional eyepieces, auxiliary lenses, digital cameras, calibration slides, various types of illuminators, stands, darkfield condensers, and polarizers. These options allow you to adapt the microscope for a variety of applications, such as measurement, jewelry work, or research in darkfield or polarized light.
