Description
Omegon Binoculars Brightsky ED-APO 22x70 - 90° with Case
Sharper, brighter views are now possible with the Brightsky binoculars featuring ED-APO optics. The improved objective lens delivers even greater sharpness, higher contrast, and impressively natural color fidelity. Enjoy detailed views of both nature and the night sky. The new ED generation of Brightsky binoculars is designed for those who want to see more.
These binoculars are true all-rounders, perfect for observing wildlife at dusk, ships on the horizon, or stars and planets at night. The large, tempered lenses collect plenty of light even in low-light conditions, producing clear and sharp images of distant objects.
A solid, extremely robust hard-shell case is included for protection and easy transport. The case features a made-to-measure plastic insert, two secure fasteners, and a sturdy carrying handle.
Main features:
-
90° angled eyepieces for relaxed astronomical viewing, even at the zenith
-
Interchangeable eyepieces let you use your own 1.25" eyepieces and customize magnification
-
Waterproof and nitrogen-filled, providing clear images in all weather, even in damp environments
-
Magnesium housing for a lightweight and sturdy build, perfect for travel
-
Fully multi-coated optics for sharp, brilliant images with minimal reflections
Focusing
Focusing is precise and smooth, with two separate helical focusers that can be adjusted accurately for crisp, sharp images.
Wide-Angle Eyepieces
Two 18mm wide-angle flat field eyepieces provide a broad view of the sky or landscape. With a 65° field of view, you can enjoy a wide, immersive perspective. The flat field design ensures the image stays sharp to the very edge.
Interchangeable Eyepieces
Eyepieces can be exchanged at any time, allowing you to use other 1.25" astronomical eyepieces and adjust the magnification as desired.
Tip: Two zoom eyepieces with continuous magnification can be a useful addition for extra versatility.
Filter Thread for Custom Observation
Each eyepiece accepts standard 1.25" filters, letting you enhance your observations with city light filters for nebulae or gray filters for lunar viewing. Most binoculars with fixed eyepieces lack this option.
Binocular Vision for Enhanced Comfort
With separate optics for each eye, these binoculars provide a vivid, relaxed, and natural viewing experience. Observing with both eyes adds an extra dimension to what you see.
Lightweight Magnesium Construction
The magnesium body ensures the binoculars are lightweight despite the large objective lenses, making them easy to take on every trip.
90° Viewing Angle for Astronomy
The 90° angled eyepieces are ideal for observing objects high in the sky, especially near the zenith. This viewing angle offers a comfortable posture, allowing for longer and more enjoyable observing sessions.
Easy to Handle and Mount
A carrying handle on top gives you a firm grip and makes mounting on a tripod quick and easy.
Tip: Use a sturdy tripod with a video head or fork mount for stable and enjoyable observations.
