The Fujifilm GFX100 IR is a specialised mirrorless digital camera developed for forensic, scientific and cultural heritage work. Based on the GFX100 platform, it extends image capture into the infrared (IR) spectrum. By mounting different IR filters in front of the lens, the camera can record images at various wavelengths, revealing details that are invisible in normal light.

The 102 MP medium format sensor allows extremely high-resolution infrared imaging, making it suitable for:

Infrared autofocus and imaging performance

Powered by the X-Processor 4, the camera produces 16-bit RAW files with wide dynamic range and low noise. It also supports:

• DCI and UHD 4K video using the full sensor width

• Internal 4:2:0 10-bit recording

• F-Log for advanced grading and post-production

Pixel Shift Multi-Shot for ultra-high resolution

The Pixel Shift Multi-Shot mode can create images up to 400 MP by shifting the sensor in half-pixel increments and capturing multiple RAW frames. Combined afterwards, these frames produce:

• Exceptional detail and clarity

• Highly accurate colour information

• Infrared images with unprecedented precision and minimal false colour

This gives researchers and investigators a powerful tool for detailed analysis.

Modular viewfinder and flexible display
