The ultimate snapshot camera for modern photography. Built around the core GR-series philosophy of maximizing image quality, portability, and fast snapshot performance, the latest GR-series model introduces a completely redesigned set of key components, including the lens, image sensor, and imaging engine.

Despite its compact body, which is even smaller than the previous generation, the camera features a large APS-C CMOS image sensor with approximately 24.24 effective megapixels for detailed, high-resolution images. A fast startup time of approximately 0.8 seconds enables quick and responsive shooting.

Built-In HDF (Highlight Diffusion Filter)

The RICOH GR III HDF introduces a newly developed built-in Highlight Diffusion Filter (HDF), designed to create soft, diffused highlights and a more atmospheric image style.

The camera retains all the strengths of the standard GR III model, including exceptional image quality, intuitive handling, and excellent portability, while adding the ability to activate the HDF instantly with a single action. Users can easily switch between crisp, sharply focused images and softer, cinematic-looking images with glowing highlights.

This added flexibility allows photographers to create distinctly different visual moods depending on the subject or artistic intent.

Please note: the built-in ND filter found in the standard model has been replaced by the HDF filter.
