The Ricoh GR IIIx is a compact, high-performance camera designed for photographers who want outstanding image quality, fast operation, and true pocketability. It features a newly developed 26.1mm lens that delivers a 40mm equivalent angle of view in 35mm terms. This standard focal length is close to natural human vision and produces a different, more intimate look for street and everyday photography.

Inside, the camera uses a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor and the GR Engine 6 to maximize resolving power and fine detail. It also offers high-speed hybrid autofocus, in-body Shake Reduction, and a range of in-camera editing tools so you can refine images without a computer. Start-up time is about 0.8 seconds, making the camera highly responsive. High-Resolution GR Lens (40mm Equivalent)
The GR IIIx’s 26.1mm GR lens provides a 40mm equivalent field of view, which is ideal for natural-looking street scenes, portraits, and everyday moments. It delivers a realistic sense of depth and perspective that feels close to how you see with your eyes.

The optical design uses high-refractive, low-dispersion glass and aspherical high-precision molded elements arranged to minimize distortion and chromatic aberration. The result is a high level of sharpness and clarity across the frame.

The lens also includes a built-in ND (Neutral Density) filter that reduces light by two stops. This lets you maintain wide apertures for shallow depth of field or slower shutter speeds for creative motion effects, even in bright conditions.

A nine-blade diaphragm produces smooth, natural bokeh at wider apertures and can create attractive starbursts when stopped down.

24.2MP APS-C CMOS Sensor and GR Engine 6
The 24.24MP APS-C CMOS sensor combines with the GR Engine 6 to produce high-resolution 14-bit RAW (DNG) and JPEG files with:
