SmartSystem Matrix One Extreme Bundle Vlock (smart-2595)

The Matrix Sled Extreme makes both static and dynamic balancing very straightforward. Designed for cinema use, it can comfortably handle heavier cameras thanks to the included counterbalance weights. It features an ultra-fluid gimbal and a backlash-compensated, micrometric non-floating top stage for a very stable camera mount.

The LCD monitor holder is mounted on separate rods to maximize rigidity and allow flexible positioning. The sled uses an innovative power system with dual V-Lock battery slots that support +12 V or 24 V operation, plus an additional C-battery slot for extra power options.

Its 40 mm carbon fiber telescopic center post provides high rigidity while keeping weight to just 12.13 lb (5.5 kg) without counterweights. A hard case is included for safe and convenient transport.

SmartPack Floating Battery System
SmartPack gives you full control over how your components are powered, whether for cinema or broadcast use. The two batteries have independent circuits, and each is controlled by a hemispherical button with LED indication. You can choose to:
• Power the camera from battery A, battery B, or both for extended runtime
• Power accessories from battery A, battery B, or both
• Power the camera at 24 V (with battery A or B installed); a bright LED on the XLR connector confirms when 24 V is active

The SmartPack also uses an indexed system for adjusting battery pack tilt, providing high strength and safety even with heavy batteries.

Dedicated Wiring
The sled can route up to three different voltages from the battery section to the components that need them, unlike many sleds that only offer a single power line. This design provides superior flexibility and system integration.

C Battery Included

Arm X1

The Arm X1 is designed, engineered, manufactured, and hand-built in Italy. Each part is CNC-milled in-house from AL7075 Ergal aluminum, a high-performance alloy that offers steel-like strength at a fraction of the weight. Widely used in aerospace, robotics, and high-end automotive applications, this material allows the Arm X1 to be extremely slim while retaining excellent load capacity.

XTune Dynamic Response System
The Arm X1 uses a unique arm post system for rigidity and configuration flexibility. In motion control, the ideal response to movement is “critically damped,” which depends on both payload and spring force. The patented XTune system lets you tune the arm’s response exactly as you like, acting as a selective multiplier of the spring force. You can set it from very smooth to highly responsive.

Compression springs and the special lever design keep the springs safely inside canisters, leaving plenty of clearance to avoid snagging clothing, cables, or fingers.

The arm is based on an industry-standard mating block and supports right- or left-handed operation, as well as front- and back-mounted vests.

Despite its compact size, the Arm X1 can lift 32 kg (70.4 lb) with a maximum payload of 34 kg (74.9 lb). It offers a maximum boom range of 728 mm (28.5") and supports working payloads between 6 and 34 kg (13.2 to 74.9 lb), covering both current and future camera rigs.

Since March 2021, all Arm X1 units include DynaSpring patent-pending technology, which dynamically adapts the spring behavior across the entire boom range for exceptionally soft, controlled operation.

A custom resin transport case with military-grade specifications (DEF STAN 81-41, STANAG 4280, ATA300, IP67) is included for secure travel.

Vest Lite

Vest Lite is built on a proven ergonomic design and made from high-quality materials. It is engineered for maximum comfort and flexibility for operators of all body types.

For female operators, the adjustable thoracic plate allows the vest to adapt closely to the body. Each plate can be independently positioned to achieve the best possible fit. The hip pad and hip support are shaped to provide excellent stability while allowing full leg movement.

Thoracic pads can be stacked to fine-tune comfort. The vest is built around an industry-standard mating block made from solid Ergal T7075 aluminum. A ratchet system lets you increase tightening force gradually for a secure fit, and switching from regular to goofy orientation is simple and quick.

A black/yellow rear handle provides a safe grab point for an assistant and doubles as an emergency safety handle. All fabric elements can be detached and washed, and the 100% cotton lining ensures durability and comfort.

Every structural component of Vest Lite is milled from solid aluminum, then shot-peened and hard-anodized for maximum strength and minimum weight. Extensive testing focused on both durability and lightness.

Weighing just 2.7 to 2.9 kg (around 6 lb), Vest Lite is one of the lightest professional vests available. A padded backpack is included for safe transport.

Hard Case

The included trolley case is based on the Explorer Cases 7745 and is modified to protect a SmartCAM arm (X-Lite or X1) and a SmartCAM sled from the Matrix series.
