The SmartSystem Matrix Sled Pro makes both static and dynamic balancing very straightforward. The Pro version is ideal for ENG cameras, including heavier setups, thanks to the additional counterbalance weights included. It features cinema-grade sled components such as an ultra-fluid gimbal and a backlash-compensated micrometric non-floating head.

The Matrix Sled Pro supports an LCD monitor and provides dual V-Lock battery slots plus extra C-battery slots for extended power options. A hard case is included for safe and convenient transport.

Additional Counterbalance Weight
• A key function of a steadicam sled is balancing the camera weight, including accessories such as wireless follow focus units and cinema lenses
• Adding more weight to the top stage usually requires moving the batteries or monitor farther from the gimbal to compensate. This can make the sled less practical, limiting how far you can boom down and increasing the risk of hitting the ground or your legs during fast moves
• The Matrix Sled Pro allows the use of up to ten counterweights (7.93 oz / 225 g each), enabling precise balance without sacrificing boom range or mobility

Arm X1

The Arm X1 is designed, engineered, manufactured, and hand-built in Italy. Each component is CNC-milled in-house from AL7075 Ergal aluminum, a high-performance alloy with strength similar to carbon steel but far lighter. This material is widely used in aerospace, robotics, and high-end automotive applications. Thanks to this construction, the Arm X1 is one of the slimmest stabilizer arms available while still providing outstanding load capacity.

XTune Dynamic Response System
The Arm X1 uses a robust and versatile arm post system. In motion control, the ideal mechanical response is “critically damped,” which depends on both the payload and spring force. The patented XTune system lets you fine-tune how the arm responds, acting as a selective multiplier of the spring force. You can set the feel from super smooth to very responsive according to your preferences.

On fast-paced sets, quickly adapting the arm to a new load is essential. By using compression springs and the unique XTune lever mechanism, the springs are housed in canisters with generous clearance, reducing the chance of snagging clothing, cables, or fingers.

The Arm X1 uses an industry-standard mating block and is designed with both right- and left-handed operators in mind. It supports both front-mount and back-mount vests.

Despite its compact size, the Arm X1 can lift 32 kg (70.4 lb), with a maximum payload of 34 kg (74.9 lb). The maximum boom range is 728 mm (28.5"). With a working range between 6 and 34 kg (13.2 to 74.9 lb), it comfortably supports both current and future camera setups.

Since March 2021, all Arm X1 units feature DynaSpring patent-pending technology, which dynamically adjusts the spring response throughout the boom range for extremely smooth operation.

A custom resin hard case with military-grade specifications (DEF STAN 81-41, STANAG 4280, ATA300, IP67) is included for safe transport.

Vest Lite

Vest Lite is built around a proven ergonomic design using high-quality materials. It is engineered to deliver excellent comfort and fit for a wide range of operators.

For female operators, the adjustable thoracic plate allows the vest to better adapt to the body. Each plate can be positioned independently to achieve maximum comfort. The hip pad and support are shaped to provide both stability and full leg freedom.

Thoracic pads can be stacked to fine-tune fit and comfort. The vest uses an industry-standard mating block made from solid Ergal T7075 aluminum. A ratchet system allows you to increase tightening force gradually, and switching from regular to goofy operation is quick and straightforward.

A black/yellow handle on the back provides a secure grab point for an assistant and can serve as an emergency safety handle. All textile components are removable and washable. The 100% cotton lining adds durability and comfort.

Every structural part of Vest Lite is milled from solid aluminum, then shot-peened and hard-anodized for maximum durability with minimal weight. Extensive testing has ensured both high strength and exceptional lightness.

Weighing only 2.9 kg (6.4 lb), Vest Lite is likely one of the lightest professional vests available. A padded backpack is included for safe transport.

Hard Case

The included trolley-style hard case is based on the Explorer Cases 7745 and has been modified to protect a SmartCAM arm (X-Lite or X1) and a SmartCAM sled from the Matrix series.
