The Matrix Sled Extreme makes both static and dynamic balancing remarkably simple. Designed for cinema applications, it handles even heavy camera setups with ease thanks to the included counterbalance weights. Its ultra-fluid gimbal and backlash-compensated micrometric non-floating head provide exceptional precision and stability. The LCD monitor holder is mounted on independent rods to maximize rigidity and adjustment flexibility.

An innovative battery management system supports Double V-Lock battery slots for +12 V or 24 V operation, along with an additional C-Battery slot. The 40 mm carbon fiber telescopic center post ensures high rigidity while keeping the sled lightweight, measuring 12.13 lb (5.5 kg) without counterweights. A hard-shell case is included for convenient transport.

• Deliver 24 V camera power (requires either battery installed), with an LED indicator confirming when 24 V is active

Dedicated Power Wiring
Unlike many sleds that route only a single voltage line, the Matrix Sled Extreme can deliver up to three different voltages to the components that need them. This ensures compatibility, versatility, and reliable power distribution.

Additional Counterbalance Weight Options
Balancing the camera—including accessories such as follow-focus motors or heavy cinema lenses—is essential for Steadicam operation. Increasing battery or monitor distance from the gimbal to counterbalance top weight limits movement and may cause ground contact during low booms.
Matrix Sled Extreme allows the attachment of up to ten counterweights (7.93 oz / 225 g each), enabling perfect balance without compromising boom range or maneuverability.
