This version of the Matrix R2 is optimized for setups using smaller monitors and includes a compact counterweight kit. The sled features a telescoping carbon fiber center post, a micrometric head, an LCD monitor holder, a V-mount battery plate, a Ronin 2 plate adapter, a Ronin 2 battery holder, a Ronin 2 yaw lock, an extended docking bracket, a U-bracket, a counterweight plate, ten counterweights, and a hard-shell case for transport.

The micrometric head allows you to mount the gimbal on the top or underside of the sled, providing a variety of shooting angles. The adjustable carbon fiber center post adapts to different production environments and includes a docking bracket for secure balancing or storage. The monitor mount enables flexible onboard monitor positioning. The U-bracket increases the distance between the sled and an optional stabilizing arm or vest, allowing greater monitor placement freedom.

The bottom counterweight system, with ten included counterweights, helps balance heavier rigs. The V-mount battery plate attaches to the lower rods and powers the sled through internal wiring, eliminating the need for external cables. When not in use, the sled breaks down easily and fits into the included hard-shell case.
