DJI Ronin 2 + Matrix Sled = Matrix R2

The Matrix R2 is built around an ultra-smooth 5-axis gimbal, fully CNC-machined and completely tool-free. Its 40 mm (1.57") carbon fiber telescopic post extends from 20.86" to 37" (530 to 940 mm), offering exceptional rigidity and adjustability.

A unique tiltable Ronin 2 battery plate enables the Ronin 2’s own batteries to be used exactly like standard sled batteries. No external power cable is required—the entire power path is routed internally within the sled.

The Ronin 2 Yaw Locker eliminates the typical noise heard during PAN Lock mode, and the included Ronin 2 plate adapter ensures a secure connection between the gimbal and the sled post.

The sled’s modular architecture allows the micrometric camera head to be mounted on the lower section when needed, improving overall system balance. It can be returned to the standard upper position in seconds using its automatic locking mechanism.

A V-Lock battery plate with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads can be mounted above the Ronin 2 battery adapter. The horizontal monitor system can also be removed to attach a standard monitor mount, and the lower section can be fitted with a C-battery plate like on a PRO or Extreme sled.
