SmartSystem Matrix Sled Ultra Lite Vlock (smart-8090)

Add professional-grade stability and smooth, controlled movement to your video productions using the SmartSystem Matrix Sled Ultra Lite. Positioned between the Matrix Sled Extreme and the R2 Lite in capability, the Ultra Lite model is designed for stabilizing both heavy traditional camera rigs and rigs paired with the DJI Ronin 2 gimbal. It features a telescoping carbon fiber center post, a fluid gimbal sled, a micrometric adjustable head, a Ronin 2 plate adapter, a Ronin 2 battery holder, a Ronin 2 yaw lock, an R2 counterweight plate, ten R2 counterweights, ten battery plate counterweights, a monitor LCD holder, a dual V-mount battery plate, an additional V-mount plate for extra power or ballast, and a hard-shell carry case.

The micrometric top stage provides precise balancing adjustments and allows fast mounting or removal of your camera or Ronin 2 gimbal using the included bracket. The Ronin 2 plate adapter and yaw lock ensure secure attachment and controlled operation. The center post arm supports mounting to an optional stabilizer arm—such as the ARM X1 or X-LITE—which shifts the weight from the operator’s arms to their hips for extended shooting comfort. The adjustable carbon post accommodates various shooting heights and environments, and an extended docking bracket is included for balancing or storing the sled when not in use.

A bottom-mounted V-mount battery plate powers the system internally through the center post, sending power to the top stage where three outputs deliver various voltages for different cameras and accessories. Supported connections include 2-pin and 4-pin LEMO 14.8 VDC outputs, as well as tally and BNC video I/O for feeding signals to your monitor.

A third V-mount plate supports additional power or up to ten extra counterweights (included), allowing you to balance heavier rigs. The R2 counterweight plate with ten counterweights helps offset the weight of a Ronin 2 when used in the R2 configuration. For transport, the sled breaks down and stores neatly in the included hard-shell case.
