Tilta Float Handheld Gimbal Support System - V Mount (SKU T-GSS-T01-V)

The Tilta Float System is designed to work with the DJI RS 2 and RS3 Pro, creating a compact stabilizer setup that enables smooth, cinematic camera movements with smaller, lightweight rigs.

The counterweight-enhanced post adds an extra layer of stabilization, complementing the gimbal’s own performance to achieve exceptionally fluid, free-flowing movement. The spring-loaded arm and support vest shift the weight of the rig onto the operator’s torso, allowing for significantly longer operating periods with reduced fatigue.

The included Wireless Thumb Controller provides wireless control of the Ronin as well as Nucleus-M or Nucleus Nano follow-focus motors. It mounts to the Float’s yoke using the system’s monitor bracket. The controller is powered by GoPro 5–8 batteries and includes a USB-C port for firmware updates; however, powering the device via USB-C is not recommended.

Additional accessories include a Lower Back Support and Single Shoulder Strap, which help distribute weight more evenly for comfortable operation over extended shoots.

The system offers multiple power options for the Ronin, including Gold Mount, V-Mount, TB50, or the original Battery Handle, depending on the accessories you choose.

Compatibility Notes
• The Float supports any gimbal under its weight limit that mounts via 1/4"-20 threads and powers via 2-pin LEMO or internal battery.
• Wireless control is exclusive to the RS2 and RS3 Pro.
• The Float provides only one power output, the 2-pin LEMO connector intended for powering the RS2.
• The internal post cable supports 14.8V at 3A, with a maximum rating of 6A.
• On RS3/RS3 Pro, the “M” key can only change modes — it cannot mimic the full online function of the gimbal.
• Gimbals larger than typical handheld models (such as the MoVI Pro) are not recommended; even if total weight is under 10 kg, their physical size may exceed what the Float system can properly support.
