This variation of the original Tilta Float Kit is designed specifically for supporting cameras in handheld configurations without the use of an RS2 gimbal.
The kit includes the Support Vest, Stabilizing Arm, and Carrying Case from the original Float system, along with a newly developed Manfrotto Adapter built for handheld rigging. This adapter allows you to mount your camera system directly onto the Tilta Float Stabilizing Arm, providing a more controlled and comfortable handheld shooting experience.
The adapter uses a standard Manfrotto plate, enabling fast transitions between compatible Manfrotto tripod heads and the Tilta Float Arm. It was developed in collaboration with Vaho Mat, a modification expert from the DJI Ecosystem User Group who has played a major role in helping operators expand the capabilities of their rigs.
This configuration is an excellent solution for supporting the DJI Ronin 4D, allowing smoother operation, extended shooting time, and better use of the 4D’s built-in stabilization. The adapter can also be used with various other camera systems, providing enhanced comfort and stability for long handheld shoots.
The spring-loaded stabilizing arm and support vest shift the weight of the camera closer to your body, allowing for significantly longer operation compared to traditional handheld methods. The Lower Back Support further improves weight distribution for comfortable use over long durations.
This handheld-focused Tilta Float Kit enables operators to take full advantage of the Float Arm’s comfort and stabilization benefits while maintaining an organic handheld look.
