Levenhuk New Skyline PRO 12" (300/1525) Dobsonian Telescope (86286)
The Levenhuk New Skyline PRO 12" is a powerful yet user-friendly telescope mounted on a manual Dobsonian base. With a large 304 mm aperture and a 1525 mm focal length, it opens access to detailed views of the Solar System and distant deep-sky objects. The optical components are made of BK-7 glass, ensuring sharp images, strong contrast, and natural color reproduction. The telescope features a parabolic primary mirror that eliminates spherical aberration by focusing incoming light precisely onto a single point. This optical design maintains clarity even at very high magnifications, making it particularly effective for observing distant and faint objects.

Description
Both the primary and secondary mirrors are aluminum-coated with 92–95% reflectivity, enhancing brightness and allowing better detection of subtle surface and atmospheric details.
High Magnification and Upgrade Flexibility
With a maximum practical magnification of 600×, the telescope reveals fine lunar ridges as small as 1.5 km, atmospheric features on Jupiter, detailed ring structures of Saturn, and numerous galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters from the NGC catalog. The included 10 mm and 25 mm Plössl eyepieces (1.25") provide 153× and 61× magnification, respectively.
A 2" dual-speed rack-and-pinion focuser with a 1.25" adapter offers smooth and precise focusing. The dual-speed mechanism allows fine adjustments for critical focus, and the compatibility with different accessory sizes provides flexibility for future upgrades.
Enhanced Performance with Cooling System
The package includes an 8×40 optical finderscope for accurate object location and a primary mirror cooling fan to stabilize temperature differences and maintain optimal optical performance. The cooling fan is powered by eight AA batteries (not included).
Mounted on a stable wooden Dobsonian base, the telescope offers intuitive manual control and easy operation. It is suitable for both experienced observers and ambitious enthusiasts seeking deeper exploration of the night sky.
