The Levenhuk New Skyline PRO 12" Dobsonian is a high-performance instrument designed for detailed observation of the Moon, planets, and deep-sky objects such as nebulae, galaxies, and globular clusters.

Portable Open-Truss Design

The telescope uses a fixed open-truss tube structure for improved portability. It assembles quickly from solid components and occupies minimal storage space when disassembled. A protective fabric shroud is included to shield the optical components from dust and wind during observation.

The optical tube assembly weighs 20.5 kg and is mounted on a robust Dobsonian base weighing 16.5 kg. Constructed from processed wood with a durable black finish, the mount provides stable, intuitive manual control and long-lasting reliability.

For optimal image quality, it is recommended to allow the telescope 1.5 to 3 hours to acclimate to outdoor temperatures, particularly when the cooling fan is not in use. The instrument is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from −5°C to +35°C.
