Designed for Coastal and Wet Environments
The Athena series carbon tripods are specially developed for demanding conditions such as coastal areas and riverbeds. They are corrosion-resistant and engineered to prevent water and sand from entering the structure. The distinctive red finish increases visibility, making the tripod easier to spot if it falls into water.
Flexible Height Adjustment and Stable Construction
This tripod offers exceptional height flexibility thanks to multiple leg sections, a wide leg spread angle, and the absence of a center column. Even without a center column, stability is maintained through a dedicated hook that allows you to attach additional weight, such as a backpack.
The tripod feet are interchangeable, allowing adaptation to different surfaces and shooting environments.
LH-30 Ball Head Performance
The included LH-30 ball head supports loads up to 15 kg. Its 30 mm precision-manufactured ball, produced with a tolerance of just 0.01 mm, ensures smooth movement and secure locking even under heavy loads. Despite its strength, the ball head weighs only 310 g.
The ball head has a base diameter of 47 mm and a height of 78 mm. It connects to the tripod using a standard 3/8-inch thread.
100% Carbon Construction
All Leofoto carbon tripod legs are made from 10-layer carbon fiber, delivering high stability with minimal weight and strong corrosion resistance.
The metal components are manufactured from premium 6061-T6 aluminum alloy enriched with magnesium and silicon. This material combines corrosion resistance, high strength, and excellent toughness, with yield strength comparable to structural steel. Each part is precision-milled from solid material using advanced CNC machines, resulting in significantly greater durability than cast components.
