The Athena series carbon tripods are specially engineered for challenging environments such as coastlines and riverbeds. They are corrosion-resistant and designed to prevent water and sand from entering the leg sections. The distinctive red finish enhances visibility, making the tripod easier to locate if it falls into water.
Flexible Height and Solid Stability
This tripod offers excellent flexibility in height adjustment. Multiple leg sections, a wide leg spread angle, and the absence of a center column allow it to adapt to various shooting situations. Even without a center column, stability is reinforced by an integrated hook that enables you to attach additional weight, such as a backpack.
The tripod feet are interchangeable, allowing quick adaptation to different terrains and requirements.
LH-40 Ball Head Performance
The included LH-40 ball head supports loads up to 20 kg. Its precision-engineered 40 mm ball, manufactured with a tolerance of 0.01 mm, ensures smooth movement and secure locking even with heavier camera setups. Despite its strength, the ball head weighs only 491 g.
The ball head features a base diameter of 57 mm and a height of 87 mm. It attaches to the tripod via a standard 3/8-inch thread.
100% Carbon Construction
All Leofoto carbon tripod legs are constructed from 10-layer carbon fiber, providing high stability with minimal weight and strong resistance to corrosion.
The metal components are made from premium 6061-T6 aluminum alloy enriched with magnesium and silicon. This corrosion-resistant material offers high strength and excellent toughness, with yield strength comparable to structural steel. Each part is precision-milled from solid material using advanced CNC machining, resulting in superior durability compared to cast components.
