The TeleVue AP 127/660 is a world-class four-element apochromatic refractor designed for both high-end visual observation and professional-level astrophotography. Its advanced optical design delivers a flat, virtually color-free field with exceptional sharpness extending to the very edge of the image. With a fast focal ratio of f/5.2 and a wide maximum visual field of 4.4°, this telescope excels in wide-field lunar, planetary, and deep-sky observations. As part of the Imaging System (IS) series, it has been specifically optimized for imaging applications, including a precision focuser ready for motorized fine adjustment.

The optical system uses a quadruplet lens arrangement in two groups, incorporating special glass types to eliminate chromatic aberration. The result is high contrast, excellent color correction, and outstanding performance for both visual observers and astrophotographers.
