The TeleVue Delos 24 mm eyepiece is part of a premium series designed to deliver reference-level visual performance across a wide range of observing applications. With a generous 72° apparent field of view and long 20 mm class eye relief, it offers both immersive viewing and exceptional comfort. Every optical, mechanical, and ergonomic element has been carefully engineered to maximize sharpness, contrast, and ease of use. This eyepiece is suitable for detailed planetary observation as well as expansive deep-sky viewing.

The Delos concept was inspired by the renowned Ethos series but with a slightly narrower 72° field of view. This design choice allowed for increased eye relief and improved control of pupil aberrations, all while maintaining a manageable size. The result is edge-to-edge sharpness, virtually perfect distortion correction, and excellent color neutrality. Carefully matched glass elements, full multi-coatings, and advanced anti-reflection treatments ensure maximum image fidelity and brightness.

Contrast is further improved through a continuously adjustable and lockable eyeguard system. The large 35 mm diameter eye lens helps minimize stray light reflections and unwanted external light entering the observer’s eye. The sliding rubber eyeguard can be set to the ideal height for individual comfort, with indicator marks on the housing to help repeat the preferred position. The eyeguard is also rotatable for compatibility with Dioptrx systems.
