Rigel Systems Electronic Collimator wifi-Aline 2" (87862)
The wifi-Aline electronic collimator is designed to improve the precision of Newtonian telescope collimation by wirelessly transmitting a live video stream of the telescope’s optical system to a tablet, smartphone, or PC.
No additional application is required. The integrated ESP32 processor enables wireless transmission directly to standard web browsers such as Safari, Edge, Firefox, or Chrome on your computer or mobile device.
The wifi-Aline displays three concentric target rings along with a central crosshair to assist with accurate alignment. Inside the device, the camera is surrounded by an ultra-bright microprism retroreflector. This reflector is illuminated by light collected from the primary mirror, enhancing visibility during the collimation process. Focus can be adjusted by rotating the objective lens in or out.
A 2-inch adapter sleeve and a USB cable are included.
