The new Seestar S30 Pro is the successor to the highly popular Seestar S30 smart telescope. This fully automatic GoTo telescope is designed for nature and astrophotography and features two integrated cameras. It is controlled via smartphone or tablet using ZWO’s proven Seestar app.

Astrophotography has never been easier. The professional apochromatic quadruplet optics deliver exceptionally sharp images of the night sky to the camera sensor while effectively controlling chromatic aberration. High-quality lens coatings minimize light loss, and the highly sensitive sensor reduces image noise, even during long-exposure deep-sky imaging.

An integrated dual-band filter suppresses unwanted light pollution, including artificial city lights. This makes the Seestar S30 Pro especially appealing for urban users, allowing galaxies and nebulae to be captured even from a city balcony.

The app further enhances images by electronically reducing noise while preserving fine details. Users can customize image styles according to their preferences and instantly share their results.

Images can be saved in JPEG or FITS format, while videos are available in MP4 or AVI format. The built-in 128 GB internal storage ensures reliable data saving and transfer.

Fully Automatic Alignment and Operation

Tonight’s Best – Intelligent Object Selection

With built-in sensors, star maps, and an innovative sky atlas, the telescope also assists in planning your observation sessions.

Solar Observation Capability

Included solar filters can be securely attached to the front of the objective lens using a magnetic mount. This allows safe photography of sunspots and transforms the telescope into a powerful solar observation instrument.

Advanced 4K Dual Camera System with Wide-Angle Optics

The Seestar S30 Pro features a Sony IMX585 1/1.2" color sensor with a 4.6° field of view, paired with an advanced quadruplet lens system. Both the sensor and lens design represent significant improvements over the classic Seestar S30. An integrated dew heater prevents lens fogging during use.

Additionally, the Pro version includes a Sony IMX586 color sensor designed for 63° wide-angle imaging. Its rectangular sensor format is ideal for landscape and nightscape photography, capturing dramatic night skies with foreground elements. The Seestar S30 Pro combines deep-sky and wide-angle photography in a single compact instrument.

It is equally suitable for daytime nature photography, allowing users to capture wildlife or expansive landscapes with ease.

Milky Way Panorama and Mosaic Mode

ZWO’s dedicated Milky Way mode enables wide-angle Milky Way photography and supports star trail and mosaic imaging. The telescope captures multiple adjacent images and automatically stitches them together into a single large composite. The enhanced mosaic engine upgrades 4K images into detailed 8K panoramas.

Astronomical Photometry

The Pro version supports calibrated photometric measurements, enabling observation of variable stars and even the potential discovery of novae.
