The ZEISS Axiolab 5 trinocular microscope is designed for everyday routine laboratory microscopy using transmitted light in brightfield mode. Equipped with a phototube, this microscope allows easy integration with imaging systems for digital documentation and analysis.

The system includes N-Achroplan objectives with magnifications of 10x, 40x, 50x oil, and 100x oil. A 50:50 phototube allows simultaneous observation and imaging. The setup also includes a 60N-C 2/3" 0.5x camera adapter and an Axiocam 212 color microscopy camera for capturing high-quality images.

Axiolab 5 is built for routine laboratory work and combines compact construction with ergonomic design, helping save space while ensuring comfortable operation. The microscope integrates seamlessly with digital imaging solutions, enabling efficient documentation of observations. When combined with compatible ZEISS microscopy cameras, the Smart Microscopy concept allows fast image capture. Simply focus on the sample and press a single button to capture sharp images with accurate color reproduction. The resulting digital images match what is seen through the eyepieces, preserving details and subtle color differences. The system can also automatically apply proper scaling information to captured images, enabling efficient documentation without requiring a computer or additional software.
