Innovative rotating lens system

The FP-Z8000 features the world's first folded bi-axial rotating lens system, allowing the lens to rotate independently while the projector remains stationary.

The lens can be directed:

• Up.

• Down.

• Forward.

• Backward.

• Left.

• Right.

This unique design allows projection onto almost any surface without physically repositioning the projector.

Users can also switch between portrait and landscape projection simply by rotating the lens, making installation faster and more flexible.

A built-in locking mechanism securely holds the lens in position during operation.

Advanced folded optical design

The folded optical system is based on Fujifilm's extensive expertise in precision optical engineering developed for professional 4K and 8K broadcast lenses.

Proprietary optical design software optimizes the complex light path through multiple lens groups, allowing the rotating optical assembly to maintain excellent image quality across the entire projected image while minimizing distortion.

The result is sharp, consistent projection with excellent corner-to-corner performance.

Large-diameter aspherical lens

The projector incorporates a large 87 mm precision aspherical front lens.

Manufacturing large aspherical optical elements requires advanced molding and processing technology. The lens provides extremely accurate image reproduction and contributes to the projector's ultra-short throw capability.

The precision of the optical surface is maintained within approximately one micrometer, supporting large-format projection with exceptional clarity.

Compact mechanical construction

Drawing on more than three decades of projector lens engineering experience, Fujifilm developed a compact lens mechanism capable of maintaining high image quality while supporting six-direction lens rotation.

Advanced thermal and structural simulations optimize the internal mechanical design, allowing the projector to maintain a remarkably slim profile measuring only 108 mm in height when the lens is folded.
