AD512 Iridium Filtered Passive Antenna with Enhanced Durability and Mounting Hardware

Experience superior connectivity with the AD512 Iridium Filtered Passive Antenna, expertly designed for optimal performance in harsh or marine environments. This robust antenna is crafted to withstand the elements while ensuring reliable communication.

Features:

  • Durable Construction: The radome is made from 4 mm GRP, providing excellent durability. The base is precision-milled from aluminium and features a hard anodised finish. This gives it an attractive green look while ensuring mechanical resilience and corrosion resistance.
  • Interference Rejection: Includes a low-loss interdigital filter to effectively reject interference from frequencies adjacent to the Iridium band, ensuring clear and uninterrupted signal reception.

Mounting and Connectivity:

  • Versatile Mounting: Comes with a bracket (model AD512-2) which can be easily attached to a mast or spar up to 60mm in diameter using the provided V-bolts. For ease of packing, the V-bolts may be bolted through the front face of the bracket and should be detached and reversed during installation.
  • Easy Connection: Connects seamlessly to your Iridium handset using an appropriate coaxial cable from the N-type connector located on the underside of the antenna.
