AD-511 Mk2 Iridium Active Antenna with Extended Range Capabilities

The AD-511 Mk2 Iridium Active Antenna is expertly designed to enhance the performance of your Iridium installations, allowing for cable lengths of up to 160 meters without any loss in signal quality. This is a significant improvement over standard passive antennas, which only support up to 30 meters of coaxial RF cable.

This extended range capability is particularly beneficial for installations on ships and land, where longer cable runs are often necessary but previously unfeasible with standard solutions.

  • Supports up to 160 meters of coaxial RF cable.
  • Ideal for both marine and terrestrial Iridium installations.
  • Compatible with pre-set cable lengths ranging from 27 to 160 meters when using the appropriate AST identified coaxial cable.

Package Includes:

  • Active Antenna Head with a robust alloy mounting bracket.
  • Power Break-In Box, designed to be positioned near the Iridium phone device.
  • A 1-meter coaxial lead for connecting the Iridium phone device to the Power Break-In Box.

Note: The power supply is not included and the Power Break-In Box requires a DC power input ranging from 18 to 36 VDC.
