Description

The MICH type is an older design helmet covering the ears, which provides better protection than the newer Fast and Wendy types, but is now being discontinued because the new models are lighter, offer a greater field of vision and better mobility.

Helmet made of HMPE - helmets are usually made in Class IIIA of the NIJ 0106.01 standard and maximum in Class IIIA of the extended 0101.06 standard (for ballistic plates). Because the impact of a .44Magnum type bullet to the head even while wearing a helmet is lethal, the kinetic energy of the bullet in excess of 800Joules is so powerful that it causes lethal injury regardless of whether the helmet stops the bullet or lets it through. Wearing a Class III or IV helmet therefore makes absolutely no sense apart from the extra weight on your head.

Weight: 1.45kg

Size: M/L/XL, 52 - 62cm

Manufacturer: BulletProof PPE LLC, Wilmington Delaware USA

The test at the shooting range was carried out on a Type: Fast helmet, but each helmet is made of the same material and technology, only the design differs.
