3M Peltor SportTac Active Hearing Protectors - Olive/Orange

Professional active hearing protectors engineered for shooting sports provide intelligent noise protection while offering the flexibility to connect external audio devices and adjust attenuation levels. Equipped with built-in microphones, these protectors support ambient sound audibility. When noise levels exceed a safe threshold of 85 dB, an electronic circuit automatically deactivates the microphones and suppresses the noise.

SportTac enhances sounds below 85 dB, enabling better hearing while wearing the protectors compared to without them. A notable feature is the ability to customize volume levels for sounds and conversations based on individual preferences and environmental conditions. Advanced electronic circuitry ensures smooth sound reproduction, eliminating crackling and preventing sudden drops in sound levels.

Powered by two AAA batteries housed in a single canopy, the protectors feature an automatic energy-saving mode that switches them off after two hours of inactivity. The electronic system retains the last volume settings and alerts users of low battery levels. With a single set of batteries, the protectors can operate for up to 600 hours.

Activation and volume adjustments are facilitated by three large buttons. The contoured design of the lower part ensures the protectors do not interfere with shooting activities. Wide cushions effectively isolate noise and are easy to clean. The headband, designed to distribute pressure evenly, allows for prolonged wearing without discomfort. The expandable design enables easy adjustment to fit the shooter's head shape.
