CPM MagnaCut: A Revolutionary Steel
The blade of the Benchmade Auto Osborne is 86 mm long and constructed from CPM MagnaCut, a super steel produced using advanced powder metallurgy. Unlike traditional stainless steels, CPM MagnaCut eliminates chromium carbides from its composition, resulting in a fine microstructure that enhances sharpenability while maintaining impressive wear resistance.

This steel combines the toughness of CPM-4V, the corrosion resistance of CPM-20CV, and the edge retention of CPM-CruWear/CPM-4V, achieving a remarkable hardness of up to 64 HRC. It is widely regarded as one of the finest steels available in production knives.

Reverse Tanto Blade Design
