Shelf Life and Maintenance
When stored properly, the K-SB60 has a total shelf life of ten years. However, this is reduced to five years when carried continuously. To ensure operational readiness, users should perform daily checks using the window on top of the device. A brown indicator paper signifies proper functioning, while a white indicator means the device needs replacement.
Wearing and Carrying
For immediate access during emergencies, the oxygen self-rescuer should be worn on the user's body. It comes equipped with two sturdy metal loops, compatible with standard work belts up to 45mm wide.
