Description

Icom IC-F4002 UHF Handheld Analog Radio - Rugged, Reliable, and Ready for Any Environment

Simple Operation for Instant Communication

The Icom IC-F4002 UHF Handheld Analog Radio is designed for effortless communication. With its intuitive interface, no special training is required. The large, non-slip knobs and buttons ensure easy operation, even when wearing gloves.

Powerful Audio for Noisy Environments

Experience clear communication with 1500 mW* loud and crisp audio delivered by Icom's custom high-power speaker. Ideal for use in noisy areas.

* Typical with internal speaker

Enhanced Audio with Optional Speaker-Microphone

For even greater audio output, pair the IC-F4002 with the optional HM-222HLWP speaker-microphone. This combination provides a typical loudness of 1500 mW.

* Applicable for transceivers marked with a "U" on the serial number label.

Extended Operating Time

Equipped with a high-efficiency FET, the IC-F4002 offers up to 31 hours* of operation using the BP-299 3150 mAh battery pack.

* Based on a TX: RX: Standby ratio of 5: 5: 90 with power save function enabled.

Durable and Weather Resistant Design

Though compact at 111 mm in height, this radio is built to withstand the elements. It is dust-protected, water-resistant to IP54 standards, and has passed 11 categories of MIL-STD-810 environmental tests, ensuring military-grade ruggedness.

Hands-Free Operation with Internal VOX

The internal VOX capability allows for hands-free operation. Use the optional compatible headset with the OPC-2004LA plug adapter for added convenience. VOX gain and delay time are fully adjustable.

Selective Calling and Quiet Stand-by

Utilize 2-Tone and 5-Tone signaling for selective calling, quiet stand-by, and other programmable features. The radio can be remotely disabled with the "stun" function and restored with the "revive" function.

Advanced Scan Features

Monitor priority channels with the priority scan feature, while the TX channel and talk back functions ensure quick responses during scanning.
