The Hytera RD985S is a powerful and versatile digital systems repeater, offering robust performance with its ability to support both conventional analogue and digital modes. Designed for seamless integration into DMR trunked radio systems (Tier III), this repeater ensures excellent coverage with its 100W power capacity, making it a vital component in DMR simulcast and Hytera XPT systems.
Key Features
- IP Multi-Site Connection: Effortlessly connect multiple RD985S repeaters over an IP network in both analogue and digital modes. This feature facilitates the deployment of extensive communication networks across various locations cost-effectively.
- Mixed Mode Operation: The RD985S series supports mixed channel mode, which automatically detects the incoming signal and switches between analogue and digital modes accordingly.
- Additional Applications: Enhance the functionality of RD985S repeaters with Hytera's SmartDispatch or SmartOne for dispatching, and OTAP for remote programming. An Open API is available for third-party development.
- Back-to-Back Solutions: Enable cross-band and cross-system communications in DMR Tier II through the Hytera Back-to-Back solution, providing a wireless connection between two systems using a Hytera mobile radio when no IP link is available.
- Smart Network Management: Utilize Hytera's XNMS platform for professional network management, allowing remote monitoring of services, configuration of parameters, and export of statistical reports for network diagnostics.
