The GSO RC astrograph is a newly developed telescope from GSO, now available at a more affordable price. It is specifically designed for astrophotography, using a pure reflection system that completely avoids chromatic aberration. This is made possible by a combination of a hyperbolic primary mirror and a convex hyperbolic secondary mirror. The telescope delivers images that are free from coma and offers a wide field of view. Its open tube design and quartz mirrors ensure quick cooling and minimize problems with dew. The system is also suitable for infrared photography.
