TS Optics Flip Mirror System & Off Axis Guider (58712)
The TS Optics Flip Mirror System & Off Axis Guider is a highly versatile accessory designed for both observation and astrophotography. It features a unique system where a large, multi-coated prism can be inserted into the optical path for a 90° viewing position or withdrawn for straight-through imaging. This setup allows you to easily center objects for your camera or high-power eyepiece, then switch to imaging or observation without losing alignment.

The system also functions as an off-axis guider, letting you guide on stars outside the camera’s field of view—ideal for sensors up to about 30mm in diameter (APS-C). Its 360° rotation makes finding a suitable guide star straightforward, and the compact design requires only 35.5 mm of back focus, making it compatible with a wide range of setups.
This system is an excellent choice for astronomers seeking a flexible, compact, and efficient solution for both visual centering and off-axis guiding in astrophotography.
