The TS Optics 2" 0.8x corrector is specifically designed for astrophotography with 102mm f/7 ED refractors. This corrector and focal length reducer is optimized for APO and ED refractor telescopes with apertures of 100-102mm and an f-ratio of f/7, providing sharp, round stars across the entire field—even with larger camera sensors. The corrector is easy to use: simply insert it into the 2" focuser of your refractor and secure it in place. Its design avoids tilting issues, as it does not have a safety notch.

For optimal results, the backfocus distance from the camera-sided T2 thread to the sensor should be exactly 55mm when used with a 100mm or 102mm f/7 refractor. If you are connecting a DSLR, you will need the appropriate T2 ring. The corrector also features a telescope-side M48x0.75 (2") filter thread, allowing you to easily attach standard nebula filters for enhanced astrophotography.
