TS Optics TS Field Flattener 2'' (14752)

The TS Optics TS Field Flattener 2" is a universal field flattening lens designed to significantly improve image quality for refractor telescopes. Unlike conventional systems, this flattener offers a larger illuminated field by eliminating the "T2 keyhole," providing a 45 mm clear aperture compared to the typical 37 mm. It delivers excellent performance across a wide range of refractors with focal ratios from f/5 to f/8. The generous back focus distance of 109 mm allows for the attachment of additional accessories such as off-axis guiders or filter changers. The flattener uses a standard 2" filter thread for versatile adaptation and can also be used visually by screwing it into the 2" barrel of a star diagonal mirror, improving edge sharpness even for visual observation.
