DJI Matrice 4T Drone

The DJI Matrice 4T is an intelligent and compact drone from DJI’s flagship Enterprise series. Equipped with a built-in RTK module, this model offers advanced features and a thermal imaging system designed for complex operational scenarios.

AI-Powered Intelligent Operations

The integrated AI model can detect vehicles, vessels, and objects during search and rescue missions or routine flights. It also supports switching between different AI models, expanding possible application scenarios. Additionally, it enables high-resolution grid photography and offers advanced object tracking capabilities.

Laser Rangefinder and Measurement Precision

The built-in laser rangefinder enables precise real-time measurements. With simple operations such as point marking, line drawing, and area calculation, users can perform tasks like marking inspection targets or calculating fire areas. Users can also share information through QR codes in DJI Pilot or FlightHub 2, improving collaboration and operational efficiency.

Recorded Observation Range

DJI Pilot 2 can mark the center of the camera frame and the observed ground area. This allows the surveyed area to be displayed on a map, which is especially useful during patrols and rescue missions in mountainous terrain where landmarks are limited.

Efficient Flight and Accurate Operations

The drone supports several intelligent flight features:

  • Cruise Mode allows the drone to automatically fly in a selected direction without continuously holding the control sticks, making long-distance flights easier.

  • FlyTo automatically adjusts flight path and speed in emergency situations to reach a designated point without manual corrections.

  • Smart Track enables precise object tracking and automatic zoom adjustment, allowing operators to easily switch tracking targets even if they become temporarily obstructed.

  • POI (Point of Interest) enables continuous observation and 3D modeling of buildings by flying around a selected area, improving efficiency in monitoring and modeling tasks.

Night Scene Mode

The Matrice 4 series features an upgraded night mode. The full-color night camera now supports three modes and two levels of enhanced noise reduction. Equipped with an IR Cut Filter and NIR auxiliary lighting, it performs effectively in low-light environments, ensuring clear visibility during search and rescue missions.

Smart Low-Light Photo Function

The cameras in the Matrice 4 series feature larger apertures and intelligent low-light capabilities, significantly improving performance during dusk and nighttime operations.

NIR Auxiliary Lighting

The Matrice 4T includes new NIR lighting capable of illuminating objects up to 100 meters away, ensuring excellent visibility in dark environments.

Thermal Imaging

The Matrice 4T supports High-Resolution infrared mode with image resolution up to 1280 × 1024. It also offers ultra-high resolution that reveals fine thermal details for various operations. Each unit undergoes temperature accuracy calibration during manufacturing and uses a built-in sensor to provide highly accurate real-time temperature measurements.

Low-Light Fisheye Obstacle Detection

The Matrice 4 series is equipped with six high-resolution fisheye vision sensors optimized for low-light conditions. These sensors significantly improve visual positioning and obstacle avoidance in poor lighting. The system enables automatic obstacle avoidance, intelligent rerouting, and safe return in urban environments at night.

Enhanced Medium Telephoto Lens

The Matrice 4 series includes a medium telephoto camera that expands inspection capabilities at medium distances. During inspections of power lines or bridges, it can detect bolts and cracks from a distance of 10 meters and clearly read instrument data in substations.

High-Resolution Telephoto Lens

The telephoto camera provides improved clarity with a resolution of 48 MP, capable of capturing detailed images of signs from distances of up to 250 meters. The Matrice 4T also features an infrared reduction filter, enabling continuous 24/7 operation.

Foreground Stabilization for Telephoto Cameras

Enhanced telephoto stabilization keeps foreground objects stable and clear when shooting with 10× zoom or higher. This ensures that object details remain visible in public safety and inspection scenarios.

Electronic Dehazing

In conditions such as smog or atmospheric humidity, the Electronic Dehazing feature provides three modes (Low, Medium, High) to improve image clarity and adapt to different operational environments.

Fast 0.5-Second Interval Photography

The wide-angle camera supports fast shooting with a 0.5-second interval in both orthophoto and oblique photography modes, enabling rapid aerial surveying from multiple angles. Mapping flight speed can reach up to 21 meters per second.

Five-Direction Oblique Photography

The Matrice 4 series supports a new five-direction oblique capture system. The gimbal intelligently rotates and captures images from multiple angles based on the measurement area, enabling multiple perspectives in a single flight.

Three-Direction Orthophoto Capture

The Matrice 4E supports three-direction orthophoto capture, enabling side capture during mapping missions and reducing side overlap. A single flight can map an area of up to 2.8 km².

Smart 3D Capture

The DJI Matrice 4E supports Smart 3D Capture, allowing operators to capture data and generate a preliminary 3D model directly on the remote controller screen.

Positioning System Fusion

The Matrice 4 series features an integrated DJI RTK module supporting the extended L5 frequency band and a GNSS + Vision Fusion positioning system. This allows the home point to be updated using visual positioning and enables fast startup within 15 seconds. Even without GNSS signals, the drone can complete a Return-to-Home process, overcoming obstacles and signal interference common in urban environments.

Intelligent Guidance

When the DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise controller is connected to the internet, it can load terrain elevation data and pre-load detailed maps. This allows automatic route planning to avoid obstacles and improves safety during nighttime flights or operations in mountainous terrain.

Enhanced Video Transmission

The improved transmission system provides a download bandwidth of up to 20 MB/s, more than twice that of the Mavic 3 Enterprise series.

Gimbal-Tracking Spotlight

The optional DJI AL1 spotlight can illuminate objects up to 100 meters away and offers Always-On and Strobe modes. It can synchronize with the gimbal to follow camera movement and illuminate the area within the camera’s field of view.

Audio Broadcasting System

The optional DJI AS1 speaker delivers powerful sound and long-range audio broadcasting. It has a transmission range of up to 300 meters and can produce up to 114 dB at a distance of 1 meter. The system supports recorded messages, media imports, text-to-speech conversion, real-time broadcasting, and echo suppression.

D-RTK 3 Station

The optional D-RTK 3 station can serve as a base station providing centimeter-level positioning accuracy for multiple drones simultaneously. It can also function as a relay station to extend operational range.
