In order to mitigate the issue of chromatic aberration, the manufacturers have incorporated two lenses made from low-dispersion glass, ensuring superior image quality. Additionally, the application of multilayer anti-reflective coatings on the glass surfaces enhances the overall contrast, resulting in stunning astrophotographs.
The FRA400 400/5.6 APO offers an impressive focal ratio of f/5.6, which can be further increased by employing an optional focal length reducer.
